The modern world holds many secrets, but by far the most astounding is that witches still live among us; vicious supernatural creatures intent on unleashing the Black Death upon the world and putting an end to the human race once and for all. Armies of witch hunters have battled this unnatural enemy for centuries, including Kaulder, a valiant warrior who many years ago slayed the all-powerful WITCH QUEEN, decimating her followers in the process. In the moments right before her death, the Queen cursed KAULDER with immortality, forever separating him from his beloved wife and daughter. Today, Kaulder is the last living hunter who has spent his immortal life tracking down rogue witches, all the while yearning for his long-lost family. However, unbeknownst to Kaulder, the Witch Queen has been resurrected and seeks revenge on her killer, leading to an epic battle that will determine the survival of mankind.

Summit Entertainment presents, a Mark Canton / One Race Films / Goldmann Pictures production.

  1. Super underrated movie and world to explore. I enjoyed this movie a lot more than I realized now that I’ve found myself randomly putting it on many times over the years

  2. Does anybody else agree that this movies plot with a few tweaks would’ve made for an amazing reboot of blade in the MCU with obviously vampires instead of witch’s as the force of evil.

  3. So I just gave this movie a recent rewatch and honestly, in recent years, this movie felt like the only Vin Diesel movie where it doesn’t feel like he’s still just playing himself. It’s still very much him but it genuinely felt like he was playing a character. And I don’t count the marvel movies he’s been in because that’s just his voice. You look at the state of the Fast movies and that last xXx Movie and even the piss-poor attempt of Bloodshot and it’s still just Vin Diesel playing as himself under a new name. But this movie felt like he wasn’t just playing himself but actually as someone else.

  4. I swear the era of 2010's was a Golden era for CGI based Fiction/Adventurous Genre!!! Vin Diesel performance was Voice award winning here. His voice was so perfect for Witch Hunter especially when he said "By Iron & Fire" Total goosebumps & Ygritte always play characters where dreamwalkers involved and Frodo always play character where an Evil Insect Involved lol. btw watching Frodo as villain kinda weird.

  5. It sucks that this movie underperformed at the box office. Not sure how the dvd release faired but this was a solid action film with an intriguing premise.

I suppose the problem was as simple as competition. 2015 was a busy year for the theaters. This could’ve easily been made into a trilogy or anthology series had it performed well.

Regardless it’s an entertaining film that was sadly slept on by many.

  6. Witch-hunting just the lurer. This is a sales pitch for satanic magic and the plaque lie. A hot dream for a small sociopathic group trapping stupid a-moral people.

  7. Cool would be a game based on the idea of "The Last Witch Hunter", which is set in the Viking era and deals with dark magic, old rituals of the Vikings and for example shows a fight of the Vikings against powerful coven, preferably based on the Unreal Engine, a game in which you move similar to Assassins Creed Valhalla through ancient Norway and on the way to find witches and fight them.

With beautiful fjord landscapes, forests, magic forests and even witch forests. Maybe that will come 🙂
