  1. I usually agree with you to be talking about but how does one feel when he has an actual hit do you mean fail to follow up a hit with a hit because if he owns his music he'll still be getting paid so how is that a failure

  2. Some 'One Hit Wonders' who make it big and are smart about it will take what they earned, chat about it for a while, then say "that's it, I'm done, I got all I really needed, it was fun while it lasted!".

  3. Gotye wasn't a one hit wonder . He had many hits and it was a musical experiment he did with his artistry he never wanted to get super famous it wad just a project for him

  4. Gotye would’ve fit in perfectly in the 60’s or even the punk era of the late 80’s early 90’s when capitalism was shunned amongst most real artist.

  5. 20:35 its not internet though, its music. Very different ways of life, you dont have a 360 deal with advances under some other influencers small platform while they go on the big platforms and make all the real money.

  6. A lot of the older one hit wonders, from like the '70s, '80s, and '90s are still touring off of their hits. Most of the time they aren't huge venues, and sometimes they are openers, but they are still getting their bags

  7. I don’t know. Some one hit wonders from the 90’s will pop back up and be surprised that they still have fans. I think if you really make a banger, then a couple years after your fall off you be living like sir mix a lot
