A question I always have and never had anyone answering: is it more inviting to have the lights off to communicate with the ghosts? Is there any reason why all the paranormal investigators never turn the lights on? I understand most of the times there's no light available, but often times there is and still you rather not use it. Is there any speciffic reason?

The common wall shared with nextdoor may explain the footsteps & noises (especially going upstairs). The owner is making big bucks by the house being "haunted". Could he be in partnership with Carol the nextdoor neighbour? Could he be paying her to give people the house keys together with creating the "paranormal" footsteps & noises heard through the common wall? After all she has lived there for 30+ years.
The poltergeist might already moved since the place had become a hotspot for tourist, we all know that spirits doesnt like noises and crowded people…
When you saw the little girl, was it during an investigation that is posted on YT?
