Kaulder (Vin Diesel), a witch hunter, is cursed with immortality by the Witch Queen (Julie Englbrecht) right before she dies at his hand. As a result, he has been tracking down evil witches for centuries while leading a lonely existence separated from his wife and daughter. That is a very well crafted Glamour spell combined with maybe a Prestige or some kind of Fascination spell to lure the child in. It requires quite a talent to make something this attractive out of something this repulsive. It’s the tactic of the gingerbread house although I’m not sure what he was going to do with that child. This is one of the few times I've seen a film actually address the fact that Witches were both men and women, and look like everyone else.

Found the movie by accident and by accident I mean somewhere in my memory I recalled the trailer. Its very entertaining and doesn't fall into tropes.

I admit vin diesel does not have the most impressive emotional range when it comes to his roles, however every time I see him, he plays his part to perfection in my opinion, this one especially.
