Immortality, even without aging, can be seen as a curse. An immortal being would witness every moment until the sun engulfs the Earth, which is expected to happen in about five billion years. This entity might ultimately be the last living being, experiencing the slow decay of the universe as it approaches a state of entropy.
Entropy, a fundamental concept in thermodynamics, refers to the measure of disorder or randomness in a system. As the universe evolves, it tends to move toward a state of maximum entropy, where energy is evenly distributed and no usable energy remains to perform work. This eventual "heat death" of the universe means that all stars will extinguish, galaxies will drift apart, and the cosmos will become a cold, dark expanse.
In this scenario, the immortal being would not only witness the end of life as we know it but also the gradual dissolution of all matter and energy. The loneliness of eternity, coupled with the weight of such cosmic desolation, could lead to profound existential despair. Would the value of memories and experiences diminish in the face of infinite time and solitude? Such a fate might render immortality less a blessing and more a relentless burden.

Here’s the first fact: Neither Paramount Pictures nor Summit Entertainment makes a difference of the movie that does not combined with Lionsgate at some point.
The opening of this movie is the best of it imo, if they made the whole first story just about the church assembling a band of warriors skilled and hardy enough across the continent, from crusaders to vikings to take on the Witch Queen and her acolytes, that'd have sold so much more.
