I’m not really a fan of TOB—there’s just something about them that doesn’t sit right with me. While I don’t think using the Ghost Tube app automatically makes them “fake,” but utilizing a tool designed for entertainment, regardless of their reasoning, does weaken the credibility of their process—especially when they present their investigations as serious and legitimate. It annoys the heck out of me that there are people – especially debunkers who normally advocate for critical thinking – overlook this simply because they like the group, it creates the appearance of a clear double standard and comes across as inconsistent. I appreciate you weighing in, I respect and value your opinion on it.

The paranormal field is a huge source of money. Top influencers are making millions upon millions of dollars. To the point where buying property and the exploding new trend for paranormal tourism. There are investigators and there are influencers. While influencers might be going through the motions of an investigation they are just paranormal larping and just trying to get a cut of the money pie.

I absolutely agree with you. We are not all going to have the same opinions about things. What happened to listening to other's opinions and respectfully debating or discussing it and coming to a compromise or agreeing to disagree and that's ok? Now it seems like everyone just wants to hate anyone who doesn't agree with them and that's crazy and won't get us anywhere good in the end. Let's all work hard to bring back sympathy, empathy, and understanding for all, as we are all just humans after all.

And I'm with you…. the Ouija Brothers using phone apps does not automatically fake (this is the point where Noah was wrong in my opinion), but how can the "uninformed" user tell the difference between a "fake" channel using the apps and a "real" channel using the apps? If the real ones want to be seen differently than the fakers, they should stop using the same useless apps and devices. Noah was a bit hypocrite by how harsh he lashed out against fakers in general all the while praising his uncle's channel, who has been caught red-handed by several debunkers.
And commenting on another person's look is not the way to go. I'm not exactly George Clooney myself, so why should I attack others for their looks.

You are absolutely right Mr Grey. People often confuse the freedom of speech with freedom of being an ass***e. I often have to remind people that there is a difference between can and should, there's a line, it's not because i can do or say something, that i actually should. My grandpa tought me to never do or say something to someone that i wouldnt like to be done with me. I think this is a lesson that many people havent learned. Saying a opinion can be very different than spaming offenses as if there were arguments, aka Ad hominem fallacy, that's where people triggered tend to end up.

You were the first debunker I ever watched, and your still my favorite, I'm not a big fan of those who get too nasty towards people, but especially the ones who seem to be believers themselves in the paranormal, because since I don't believe in it ( I would be the first to stand up for someone if they truly showed something that I couldn't deny ) so I find those debunkers a bit hypocritical. Sure they aren't going out there doing a bunch of paranormal videos, but they have went to so called haunted places, and claimed they saw or heard something, which to me is no different from all the others who only do paranormal videos.
And now I don't feel that way about the fakers who have been not only making big bucks lying to people, asking for money from their viewers, and ones that are also so obviously fake, but then get bitchy at debunkers when they call them out for it. It doesn't bother me to see them criticize for their crap, because they deserve to be brought down, for duping people so much. And the worse are those dame mediums, who pretend to be talking to peoples loved ones or latch on to a story about a famous person dying and start acting like they're talking to them, I mean just because they are famous, doesn't mean you have the right to use their death to get paid, not when your lying. I mean some have family, and worse small children that wont understand that it isn't real.
Its like some AI narrated channels that actually claim that a famous person died, when they are perfectly fine, I always think of their family, like if they are still working, and they're off on the set of a movie, and their kids are back home, and they see that video, they might think their parent is now dead. But these people who do that shit don't care, all they care about is the money they make off of people clicking on their videos. When I see one recommended to me, I automatically tell YouTube to stop recommending them to me, I don't even go to their videos, because I already know its a lie. For one when I see them saying anyone is dead, and its not a news channel or someone else I know wouldn't be lying, I will Google the person to see if they have died or not, and so far, I have never found one of them to be telling the truth.

Finally, someone I find agrees with my narrative over these phone apps. I tried one not so long ago, 6 people I entered as fake names numbers on my phone claimed they were called the names I entered fakely in my phone.
I have started Turing off videos where the attention from the environment is less important than a phone app which is free so the my can find ‘ marketing items’.

I absolutely agree that we are all entitled to our own opinion and yes, we are all allowed to have a mature discussion with people as to why we have a difference of opinion, but that's a healthy debate, which I am not seeing happening anymore.
Some channels are just 'calling out' others because there opinion is different and I think that is unkind, it takes seconds to say some harsh words and that may affect the other person for days, weeks, months or years!

In all honesty I find myself watching the debunkers more than the paranormal these days. It doesn't help that I was downright fooled by some of the biggest fakers/ grifters on the platform!! It's in thanks to Beardo that my eyes were opened up to the fakery and bullshittery that these fakers/grifters do week after week! Therefore I will always support them 💯🫶❤️. Years ago, when I lost someone very close to me one of the bigger fakers/grifters took advantage of that and my grieving. I don't watch TOB as they are just not for me. I just couldn't ever get interested enough to watch them. I also am a subscriber of Noah's. Granted I haven't watched every single video, but I am subscribed to him. Freedom of speech seems to have gotten lost somehow somewhere. I hope that makes sense 🤕🎗️. I've been in a lot of pain lately and just lost my uncle who I was close to 💔. So please forgive me if I don't make any sense 🤕. Having brain cancer doesn't help any. 😢. I honestly think and hope that a legit paranormal investigator comes up with a legit way of finding out if there's actually an afterlife!!. It would be nice to see something new in the field that can also be scientifically proven without a shadow of a doubt!!
all i can say is Duck of Truth, if people had of listened to his critique of k2 meters….Rem pods….spirit boxes…torches and not drive him off social media, would the paranormal field have been less commercial? If you think about it, devices are calibrated to detect a theory, so no one knows if they do or don't work, when they were used to investigate alleged haunted locations, the rules should remain the same, there may or may not be a haunting, but when devices became labelled definitive proof they can contact spirits, their price quadrupled, locations didn't need investigating anymore because a device said so and public events could offer a paranormal experience for a higher fee than a Ghost Tour, the trust in devices has in my opinion priced everyone out of the paranormal and that was what Duck of Truth tried to explain, when devices can be manipulated even by environmental influences they shouldn't have been used as evidence in determining investigations.

There comes a point when an investigation team gets enough subs on youtube that they get drawn into the Content creation first. This takes away from the primary objective of investigation. It doesn't mean they are fake, but it does mean they are not investigators anymore if they are acting more like paid actors and less like someone actually trying to talk to a spirit, and not believe there is one talkiing through a phone app or a device.
I believe that Beardo is 90% of the drama in this community.

Regarding making fun of someone’s looks, I did say he reminded me of Michael Jackson, after he bleached his face because clearly Noah isn’t black, but I wasn’t making fun of him.
