I use multiple bows for different enemies.
the BitchHunter
Would it be cool to add 2 more skills to the character. Because I can see the one-handed and light armor skills work in the build as long as you don't mind spending more perk points
Real life ATF: ❌
Skyrim magic ATF: ✅
I like the way the witch Hunter was treated in Morrowind you had your Marksman skill which allowed you to use more than just bows you could use throwing stars and darts and crossbows and you had conjuration and destruction magic but you also had the ability to use light armor and use blunt weapons I think this allowed the witch Hunter to be a all-around good pre-made class
Love this build… A simple peasant kicking everyones butt 😅
If he hunts witches why would he use magic. Logically it would be anything but magic.
I think the Dwarven Black Bow of Fate is a better Weapons choice for this character, as it has an 50% absorb something like the chaos enchantment and if you add a powerful poison on it. Then truly few nameless enemies could stand in your way.
Why is this nigga wearing farmers clothes
You missed mentioning he uses achemy, as stated in the oblivion preset class also poisons
Stuck between this build and the Ethereal Hunter
I remember seeing the illustration for the witch hunter class in Morrowind, between the soul gems and what not that were shown, it had my interest VERY quickly. It wound up being a difficult build to maintain for me but eventually I managed to get it to work. Overall I found them probably about a 6/10 on the power scale in spur of the moment combat, but if I had a little time to prepare, it was a really solid anti-mage archer. It was significantly more powerful in oblivion, especially once mods became commonplace for me. I haven't tried one in Skyrim but I'd likely focus on bows, daggers, and poisons of Magicka/stamina drain and paralyze poisons. I'd likely throw out traps as well, whether physical traps from mods or magical runes of paralyze/poisons.
Use Storm Atronachs so they can conduct your Chain Lightning without getting hurt and damage enemy Magika themselves
Witchhunter: "All school of magic must be kept equal in power"
Also witchhunter: "Practitioners of necromancy, a totally legal school of magic, must be murdered without any examination of motives!"
I know I'm years late, but do this build with the Spellsiphoning mod? Ooh boy…
Grey dawnguard light armor + Linew hood. Looks very cool.
I do use storm atronachs because storm atronachs are better against mages, and frost atronachs are better at dealing with warriors. I use fire atronachs against the undead like draugr and vampires, and fire vulnerable creatures like trolls.
What would be his faith ( winter sun mod(
"You were expecting the Atronach Stone but it was me, the Lord Stone!"
goes without sayin that 50 illusion and quiet casting would help any mage build wouldn't hurt sneakin either lol
i'm also more likely to use the resto potion glitch to do 400%+ enchantments only need 1 item to fully reduce cost on ur 2 main magics
Wish you guys could include the order in which the perks are taken….. awesome back story on this build guys!! Great work!
Light armor would be helpful, especially if you are fighting draugr deathlords.
Anyone wanting the cosmetic appearance with a bit more AC check out the Reinforced Clothing Mod by xmcleod . It's available through the Mods option in the game's log in menu. Anyone can reinforce clothing to the level of Hide armor and, with the correct perks in Smithing, to the same AC as Dragonscale as well.
There is a Vokrii perk that makes this build so good. You can shoot a dual casted destruction spell (I use vanilla thunderbolt with it). It pairs so well with a magicka damage/absorb enchantment, making mages so much easier to deal with.
Witch hunter without a flintlock firearm or at the least a crossbow?
I mean it’s still awesome….. I’m just saying
Love your content and this build! It's my true favorite playstyle..
My twisted modded variation is a cloak and dagger Dunmer, with a ebony crossbow, good ol' fashioned ashland alchemy to buff magical defenses and lay down some wicked DOT poisons to those warlock pansies leeching them down second by second behind their blessed wards.
I also don't summon anything from oblivion. My character still has trauma triggers from the Oblivion crisis.. instead I've added a slew of Chaurus summons for supported poison damage and tanking. Not sure if you knew but Dunmer love to train giant bugs to do all kinds of things 🤣🤣🤣
